A product of Hawaii, Andrew longs to one day write code from a sandy beach—but for now, beautiful sunny Seattle is pretty great. He’s deeply engaged in the Seattle tech community and mentors Informatics students at his alma mater, the University of Washington. When he visits home, he takes to the waves and to the hills to surf and hike—otherwise, he sticks to his bike and snowboard in Seattle, shredding gnar, as the kids say.
