I architect and manage Islandora based projects at discoverygarden for academic and institutional clients throughout North America. Islandora consists of many Drupal modules built on top of the Fedora Commons repository and Apache Solr. It is XML oriented in persistence, supporting many common schemas such as Dublin Core and MODS.
