I fell in love with PHP, and specifically Drupal, in 2006. It was a weird time, as anyone who has had to deal with PHP4 can attest, but I continued to pursue more knowledge within the framework by starting and cultivating the budding Drupal community at the University of Chicago.
I believe clean code is akin to clean design.
I've spoken at many conferences and camps, including Madison PHP Conference, Drupalcamp Chicago, Drupalcamp Costa Rica, and the CMS Expo. One of my favorites was speaking at Drupalcorn Camp in Iowa as the close-knit atmosphere really drove home how great the Drupal community is.
In my non-working hours, I enjoy vicariously reliving the days of Thundercats and Voltron through my wife, Kimberly, son, Gregory, daughter, Kathleen, and dog, Drupy.
