Profile
I jumped into the Drupal pool in the summer of 2008 as a Drupal 5 instructional designer and instructor for content contributors and site builders at Oregon State University. My primary training contributions include a comprehensive, eight-course Drupal 6 training system that guides a user through ground-level instruction up through complex tasks such as content type and view development, along with conceptual training regarding overall site development and best practices. On occasion, extended instructional services have been provided for other organizations such as the Oregon University System's Chancellor's Office, the University of Oregon, and the Salem-Keizer School District. I'm the site builder, administrator, and primary author for the Central Web Services Training website.
Over the past few years, my role has evolved to include Drupal feature development, distribution architecture, and consultation for developers and management. For the past year I've been deeply involved in developing the distribution architecture that we at Central Web Services will need to consolidate our hundreds of Drupal6 sites into comprehensive, robust larger sites that are composed of Organic Groups.
As a co-founder of the OSU Drupal Community, I also work with other Drupal organizations across campus to collaborate on improvements and innovations that will potentially benefit both the university and local community.
