Drew began working on the web in 1996, founded Gorton Studios in 2001 and started working with Drupal in 2004. He has a team of incredibly talented people and together they've made many great organizations even better, including a wide variety of cultural, media, education, governmental, NGO, art and non-profit organizations.

Drew was initially drawn to the web's power to transform communications and make the world a better place, and since then his work and company have tried to do just that. And, happily, their work has won praise and attention from others, including web awards and organizations like Newsweek and Time Magazine.

Drew has a broad range of other interests, has lived and worked in Asia, Europe and North America and speaks several languages. He has an advanced degree in the martial art of Aikido and a liberal arts degree from St. Olaf College.

He's also a generally nice fellow.
