Profile
I'm CEO of Forum One, a "digital agency that combines tech savvy, issue sophistication, and design execution to help influential organizations craft solutions for the world’s most pressing problems. Since 1996, we have been passionately committed to helping our clients extend their influence."
As CEO I guide our business strategy and team of about 75 staff across offices in Alexandria, VA, Washington DC, and Seattle WA.
I also have led our strategy communications advising for clients including the US Global Change Research Program, the Pew Charitable Trusts, the USDA, and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
I've previously worked in environmental engineering, rural sanitation and water supply in Nepal, and environmental policy analysis at the US Office of Management and Budget.
I live in Alexandria, VA, with my wife and three kids and we enjoy biking and cross country skiing when we can.
In 2013 I took a 2-month sabbatical from Forum One, thanks to my supportive co-workers, and bicycled from San Francisco to Alexandria with my son, Alex - a fantastic experience that allowed us to see the country close up, and meet some wonderful and generous people.
