This is my first DrupalCon and I'm very excited! I'm curious what I should plan on packing and if there is an expected dress code for the conference sessions.
I would be surprised if there was much of a dress code. I live about 2 hours north of Austin. June can get pretty hot, and depending from where the weather is coming from, it can be hot and very humid, or it can be hot and very dry. If you plan to spend anytime outdoors while there, be prepared for 90° to 95°F during the day, and the low 70°s at night.
People's dress varies from suit-and-tie, to business casual, to booth staffer (khakis and company polo) to coder casual (jeans and a t-shirt from a past Drupal event).
