What module developers need to know about the front end.

Speakers:

Being out of touch with how your module's data or information is being displayed is no longer okay.

Over the last couple of years the divide between "backend developer" and "frontend-beautification-specialist" seems to be growing exponentially.

Module developers need to realize that the html their outputting matters. As it turns out, the standard over the years of giving a themer a theme function and hoping they don't call you back doesn't quite work anymore.

People who attend this session will come away with a stronger appreciation for Drupal's presentation layer in a world where SASS, SMACSS, and responsive layouts are just the beginning, and the knowledge it takes to write better modules.
