There are a variety of mapping options for Drupal 7. In this session we will help site builders understand the options available to them and decide which solutions are most appropriate for their situation. We'll show some of the powerful things that can be done with maps using contrib modules and a little patience.

Some of the specific cases that we'll cover:

• The most basic: Putting your location on a map
• Putting multiple locations on the same map
• Getting directions to or from a location
• Filtering content on a map based upon proximity to a
  selected location, taxonomy, or other criteria.
• Displaying and filtering different kinds of information
  on the same map.

We'll point participants to some of the most helpful Drupal related mapping resources.

This session is targeted at beginner to moderately experienced site builders. We welcome the audience to bring examples of how they have creatively used maps in projects and their own recommendations on modules and resources.
