It's been over 6 years since the first commit for the Apache Solr module for Drupal was made. Almost 5 years since the first commit for the Varnish module was made. At the time they were pretty exotic, now they are considered standard for all the sites that we build. While we work with Drupal let's look at what else is available to us to make it better and faster. In this session we'll be looking at other technologies and how they can be applied to Drupal to enhance the scalability and performance, to learn about your users and deepen your engagement with them and learn about content on your site and surface the most important.
