From a technical standpoint, Drupal 8 is clearly better than Drupal 7, and yet making the switch is going to be quite a challenge. It's not only about code and modules, it's just as much about human processes. It's about how people work with the software and how the software impacts our work.

How do you manage the risk associated with new technology? Which of your existing processes will be disrupted? How do you train your team to get up to speed? How do you convince your customers to go with Drupal 8? There are many questions that you and your team need to answer if you don't want to be left behind (trust me, you don't want to be one of these agencies that is still doing Drupal 7 when everyone else is already having fun with Drupal 8).

The goal of this session is to address these questions that we face as an agency when the software we rely on gets such a major update. Together, we will look for solutions and try to identify the ones that can work for you. In the end, we will hopefully get closer to an answer to the very common question "so, when can we build real projects with Drupal 8?"
