Drupal is making fast transition from being a geeky solution for geeks to enterprise content management. One of the core pillars for this would be easy 2 way integration with other enterprise systems like SAP, Salesforce, Invoicing systems, SugarCRM etc.

There are lots of such modules exists, but a common, robust services/ api layer is still missing. We envision to build a module / project, which can take care of various kinds of integrations in a seamless manner. The start point is https://drupal.org/project/drupaltosugar.
