The Acquia Cloud product is an amazing platform for hosting Drupal websites and we’re looking for Drupal developers to help us level it up even more.
You’ll be working on the user interface, management tools and application health and monitoring systems that help our customers build, test and release their sites.

Key responsibilities:
Constantly improve the performance and reliability of user interface and tools
Debug intriguing Drupal issues across large-scale installations
Work closely with customer support and engineering to deliver second-to-none SaaS service
Maintain and enhance cloud management and monitoring tools
Enhance your experience with loosely coupled SOA systems
Thorough CI and testing on all code
The candidate profile:
The successful candidate will be a Drupal expert, utilizing a deep technical understanding to ensure the delivery of a second-to-none SaaS platform and management tools. The position requires a pro-active, methodical and innovative working practice, as well as creativity and excellent problem-solving skills.
The team is a highly motivated that takes ownership of the tasks they’ve been given. Work is done in a highly collaborative nature with solutions constantly being discussed and feedback being given without ego in frequent code reviews.
Technical:
Proven enterprise-level Drupal site-building experience
Passion for web site configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of web, database, and OS server configuration (Linux, Apache, and MySQL preferred platforms)
Experience with OO code written in PHP
Have built and maintained Drupal modules
HTML5, CSS, jQuery and general front-end development experience
Experience with API integrations, have built systems that either provide or consume REST services
Personal:
Strong attention to detail, astute diagnostic skills
Ability to solve issues with clear methods while knowing when to take intuitive leaps
Strategic and forward planning thought process
Able to guide technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to partner with internal/external key stakeholders and negotiate mutually agreeable outcomes
A passion for the web, open source development and for helping Acquia to continue to build a hot and growing global start-up
Desirable:
Knowledge of Ruby, MySQL, Linux and/or open-source technologies would be a great advantage
Wider commercial knowledge or experience of digital media, open source or Drupal technology industry (including an appreciation of the industry structure, operating practices, business functionalities and competitive landscape)
