Chapter Three is looking for a highly-motivated developers to join our growing team. We pride ourselves on building great Drupal sites for our clients and are looking for people that share that passion. The ideal candidate would have a broad understanding of software development best practices and experience working with a variety of languages and platforms. This position is in our San Francisco office.

Essential Skills and Characteristics:

• A track record of delivering powerful and performant Drupal-based solutions.
• Drupal, PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Javascript, CSS, HTML, XHTML
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical clients and maintain strong client relationships.
• A deep understanding of how to troubleshoot common development problems.
• A self-starting ethic, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working with a wide range of Drupal modules and themes.
• In depth understanding or experience maintaining Drupal modules and/or distributions.
• Understanding of common system architectures and issues facing high traffic Drupal sites.
• Ability to understand requirements and quickly identify changes to scope and project risks.
• Understanding of common git-based development workflows and code management.
• Motivation to step outside of your comfort zone and learn new technologies and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as technical leader on teams with clients, designers, project managers and developers.
• Develop test and deploy Drupal websites.
• Help plan and ensure the successful implementation of high-quality Drupal site architectures.
• Write custom integrations for client and third party services.
• Share your knowledge and experience with our team and the outside world.
• Serve as an escalation point for difficult and complicated issues.
