Key Responsibilities

To be successful in this job, the senior developer must accomplish the following results:
Ensure that the project’s technical lead receives the best possible technical solutions and that those solutions fully meet the client objective
Increase the use of and support for open source technology among clients
Improve the quality of Drupal development on assigned projects
Contribute to Drupal and the Drupal community

Abilities

The senior developer needs the following skills, knowledge and capabilities:
Experience with enterprise-level Drupal implementations and/or expertise in PHP development
Ability to develop, review, test, and deploy custom Drupal modules
Knowledge of agile development methodologies
Superior interpersonal and communication skills
Competencies
Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Skilled at collaborating with team members and partners in a matrixed environment
Flexible and able to deal with frequently shifting priorities

Basic Qualifications:

Passion for the web, open source development, and for helping us build a hot and growing start-up
5-7 years of experience architecting web solutions
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
Position is located in Washington, DC, so ideal candidate should be located in the Washington, DC metro area or be willing to relocate
Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance within a Federal contract
