Project Manager

Organization:
Jackson River

Jackson River began with a dream and vision to redefine organizations’ use and adoption of technology. We dreamed big, and now so do our clients, who share our belief that Springboard is the way to go for online fundraising.

We work on creative, challenging projects with smart clients and partners for great causes. There are plenty of Drupal shops and CRM consultancies out there, but how many of those companies are helping other organizations to protect our civil liberties, fight for social justice, or save the environment? We know that every project status call we host, every recommendation we make, and every training we deliver is making the world a better place for everyone.

We are experts in our field, thinking up creative solutions to complex problems so that our clients can focus on what matters: progress. We want progressive, committed, hard-working folks who are fun to be around and will appreciate our unique culture.

Project Manager

We are looking for a technically savvy project manager to lead projects ranging from CMS and CRM implementations to organization-wide technology initiatives for our progressive nonprofit clients.

Jackson River PMs aren’t merely gatekeepers. Beyond the usual timeline and budget tasks, they’re also strategic and technical thinkers, nonprofit experts, and most of all trusted consultants who want to know every nook and cranny of a client’s project. Our PMs get to lead both critical technology initiatives and ongoing projects, developing long-term relationships and digging into the details along with our internal technical team and our clients’ teams.

As a Jackson River PM, you’ll get to help some of the world’s most influential and respected nonprofit organizations to better serve their constituencies. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with a talented, skilled, and passionate team in delivering open-source, customized solutions for these clients. And you’ll get to work for a rapidly growing, profitable, and fun virtual services company that values work-life fit and investing in our employees.

Location

Our employees work from home -- wherever that may be -- occasionally traveling to client sites, conferences, or trainings. The majority of our clients are based in Washington, DC, New York City, and the San Francisco Bay area, so some travel may be required depending upon where you live.
